Department of Aviation Electronics was founded within the Faculty of Applied Sciences in 2018 as the first department of the Faculty.  Department of Aviation Electronics aims to educate students who will design and implement electronic equipments for aerial vehicles such as aircrafts, helicopters and satellites. The course content of Department of Aviation Electronics has been determined according to the demands of the stakeholders and the priority of country.

Graduated students may have an opportunity to continue their education in Aviation Engineering at Yildiz Technical University (YTÜ). Students with a high GPA may complete their education in the related engineering departments of YTÜ with Double Major Programs.

The language of department is English. English preparatory education is compulsory for our all students. However, students who are successful in the English proficiency exam can start their first year education.
